This exquisite, quaint archaeological site makes a very successful excursion, that lasts the lenght of a morning (or an afternoon).
The guests are picked up by their hotel with the car (or Minivan) and the English-speaking driver, that will thereafter introduce himself and explain what's going to happen.
The entire trip will last roughly 4 hours.
Once there, tickets will be purchased by the guide for You, toilet stop before going in.
The whole time spent on the site is 2h.00/2h.15 minutes roughly and the walk down, which is the start, although fairly long will allow to see the ancient city from above with once glance.
Then clients go down exploring the right angle crossed streets, with the sewers, the development of the house that in Herculaneum is more evident, the lacked space, so they started building in height.
Some of the public baths will be visited with their fantastic decoration, the shops, the gymnasium, and accent will go on how Herculaneum was buried, that makes it altogether a different site from Pompeii, and has allowed the preservation of the skeletons too.
The site has also been preserved better than Pompeii, and incredible traces of chared timber pieces will be shown.
Then at the end of the visit the guide will give free time to walk back up, to have a drink or to buy a guide-book.
It will be possible to walk as far as the spot where the car (or the minivan) is parked.
For the luch time there is the return to the hotel of the guests.
