An English-speaking driver with an air-conditioned Mercedes vehicle (or similar make) will meet You dockside at the pre-arranged time You decide to start this tour. Then, you will be transferred to the ruins of Pompeii.
At Pompeii, You�ll find Your local expert guide - entrance fee is included. He will bring to life the remains of Pompeii that include many insights into how life was in Roman Times. Your tour will include: visits to the interiors of the homes of Pompeii's wealthier citizens, ancient street caf�'s where locals dined where You'll learn about traditional Roman cuisine, the theatres, the thermal baths.
As well as enjoying numerous anecdotes about life in Pompeii that will include some of the Graffiti dating back to Roman times that are still visible throughout the ruins.
After an in-depth tour of the ruins of Ancient Pompeii, You'll drive up to the summit of Mt. Vesuvius. The aftermath of the previous eruptions has created a lush-green environment on the slopes of Mt. Vesuvius where vineyards cling to the hillsides and the air is scented by citrus groves.
The view from Mt. Vesuvius on a clear day is stunning, with the curve of the coast and the tiny white houses set amongst the orange and lemon blossoms. Those of You in good shape can take a 30 minute walk up hill to the crater of the Volcano which is still active - entrance fee of Vesuvius is included.
