Pompeii ruins are a valuable and comprehensive example of Roman urban planning and of the various types of public and private buildings present at the end of the Republic and during the first Imperial age of Rome: a unique and important testimony. This thriving city was devastated by the eruption of Mt Vesuvius in 79 A.D. when 30 feet of volcanic ash and pumice stones buried it. Ironically, one of the ancient world major disasters has frozen for ever Pompeii, where present time visitors experience life as it was lived in 79 A.D.. Enjoy a breathtaking look through the centuries as You step back into antiquity. Actually – as mentioned above, in Pompeii – in the area of the amphitheatre - we have created a special route for the wheelchair confined guests. See the Amphitheatre, villas, shops, commercial districts, countless wall paintings decorating wealthy patrician mansions and even plaster casts of some city residents in their last moments of life.

After the Pompeii tour, by van (with the same tour guide) You’ll reach the harbour of Sorrento or Naples for the boat to Capri.

The Island of Capri is one of the most loved and visited places in Italy. Over the centuries, its unique beauty has been celebrated by writers and poets. In the XVIII century, Capri became and remained one of the most famous seaside resorts of international tourism. Among the main symbols of the island there is the Blue Grotto, a sea cave that is 54 meters long, 30 meters high and 15 meters wide. The access to the cave is about 1 meter high and the water is 22 meters deep. The refraction of light inside it gives the characteristic colour from which comes the name of the cave.
Colonized by the Greeks, Capri was the Imperial estate under the emperors Augustus and Tiberius who had several villas built here, designed for their holiday periods and rest. The most important villa built in Capri by Tiberius (who chose the island as his fixed residence from 27 to 37 AD) is called Villa Jovis, and it is the best preserved. The building occupies the plateau of Mount Tiberio, overlooking the sea and over 300 meters high for an area of about 7000 square meters, but with the woods and the surrounding gardens it came to cover an area four times bigger. The villa is composed of different levels and its central core consists of four large cisterns to collect water around which take place all the rooms.
At the end of the Capri Tour, our guide will help you take a ferry (or jetfoil) to go back to your cruise in Naples (or Sorrento) port.

N.B.: The minivan you use all the time is accessible, equipped with specific ramp.
