This excursion to the isle of Capri is a soft relaxing day enjoying the gifts of Nature and the beauty that man has created out of it.
The meeting with the guide takes place down at the harbour of Sorrento (or Naples). After an introduction and a briefing, clients are taken to the jetfoil either the hydrofoil or the catamaran, that arrives on the island 20-25 minutes later (from Sorrento) or 45-50 minutes from Naples. Once there, the guide gathers everybody and heads to the "funicolare" (cable car) where clients will be taken for a two-minute ride, up to the main village of the island, Capri - some waiting may occur during peak season.
There, an explanation will be given with the program and the possibility of optional lunch or boat trip.
After that, some free time is generally given for toilets or a drink and then there the walk to the Gardens of Augustus begins. It is a superb view point from where You can admire the Faraglioni Rocks, three beautiful isles that got detached from the island in the distant part. The walk can last roughly 1 hour and it can cover streets of the ancient village where the local life, the elegant shopping area, the panoramic walkways, the hidden peaceful spots hidden in the green are. Historical facts, anedots, information about modern Capri are given and after getting to the garden, surrounded by flowers and the blue of the sky and the torquoise of the sea, the building where Gracie Fields used to live can be pointed out. Then the people with the guide go back to the center for optional lunch either free time for shopping or for an optional boat trip for a perfect way to complete the day.
On return at the port of Capri, the guide will meet the clients and will take them back to Sorrento (or Naples) by jetfoil (or catamaran). The guide will leave the clients at the harbour.
